Colorado
This older plate now has the reverse color scheme of green and white but we prefer the classic look of snow covered mountains.
New Mexico
This commemorative plate perfectly fits the culture and feel of the Land of Enchantment. These bright teal beauties really glow in the warm desert sun.
South Carolina
A catchy jingle. The beautiful Palmetto tree. This carolina blue speciality adorned the family cars growing up and I will always love this now out of service tag.
Hawaii
The easiest choice. Simple, legible and the only state that can pull off a rainbow.
Montana
The speed limits can reach 85mph up in Big Sky country so looks fast at this great plate. Reminds me of an ice cold Montucky Cold Snack.
New York
The best plate ever stamped out of Attica. Perfect color scheme, the bias towards city landmarks while ignoring the upstate. Unfortunately this gem was replaced with a Niagara Falls background.
New Jersey
I’ll be honest my birthstate’s license plate almost made the good list but I just have to be fair here… it looks like piss and reminds me of the smell at Secaucus Junction.
New York
We stay in the metro and visit New York again. This one is just bad despite being an homage to older. days. I’m convinced the yellow and dark blue color scheme was a post 9/11 security measure but overall it just looks too conspicuous and clashes horribly with red cards.
Oklahoma
What’s going on here Sooners? On the road the negative space is not noticeable and it takes a while to realize it’s just some bird.
Massachusetts
The northeast strikes again here. Plain, boring, and some Masshole behind the wheel.
